ABOUT KMMGS
Kili – Meru Mountain Guides Society (KMMGS) is a non-government organization (NGO) which aims at supporting those guides who climbs mount Kilimanjaro and Meru, established in 2013 with registration number S.A 18890 under registered societies act no. (CAP.337 R.E. 2002) Tour guides are those people who leads tourist when they want to visit difference places in the country so they have decided to establish their organization so that they can help each other
WHY CHOOSE US
The organization aims at providing education and training to its members especially during low season when there are few clients, so many guides tends to be idle without any job and that’s the time when they will be assembled together for training about difference issues concerning their daily life such education about diseases like HIV/AIDS and malaria, education about first aid, customer service training, English language classes, environmental conservation and caring classes, money management classes e.t.c.
The organization aims at establishing difference development projects so as to improve working and living condition for its members through those projects also the organization seeks to build relationship with difference institutions which can support its projects such as government institutions, non- government institutions, donors as well as sponsors. The organization was established by a group of 220 members who limbs Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru so that they can share difference issues concerning their life in order to accomplish their common goals.
